Our Rich Heritage
Inner Wheel District 301 has undergone a fascinating evolution to attain its current standing in society, thanks to the dedicated efforts of its industrious members. Originally known as District 310 in the past, its 13 clubs spanned vast regions, reaching from Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh to Punjab and Haryana. With the growing momentum of the Inner Wheel movement, the need for expansion led to the creation of District 309. While Mrs. Kanti Manohar led the parent District 310, Mrs. Minna Kapur assumed leadership for the newly established District 309.
In 1985, a reorganization aligned with Rotary Districts resulted in the formation of the present Inner Wheel District 301, with Mrs. Anita Agarwal serving as its Founder Chairman. Today, inner Wheel District 301 boasts 46 clubs that encompass Delhi and neighboring areas in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
